A room with little view

A room with little to no substantial view is what I saw in the movie "A room with a view" why is that? In the 1800's we see the blatant discrimination the Italian and British had upon woman acting out of the normative character. This can be seen on how people treated the protagonist for her particular way of being. This is actually still a constant threat in our current society, we live in a room with a little view. Meaning that society tries to establish a standard norm for anything in existence, they try to create a standard way of being for people when it doesn't necessarily mean its right. If society deems murder as something just, would that mean it is correct in all sense, the reply to this depends on the person, it depends on how you truly view right from wrong. Instead of this, people attach themselves to the collective thought rather than remaining with their individual sense of duality, all due to it being 'easier' since going with the flow is better than riding against it.

In the movie we see how very few would go against it, but it seems futile no? Why does it seem so futile to go up current? Why do very few try that? Well it is due to indoctrination, Imagine your whole life going in a single direction of forward, you don't do anything but go forward. Other than going forward there is nothing else but forward. After a while a friend comes up to you and tells you that there is another direction(backwards). The first reaction you might hence is negation, I mean all your life you were taught the forward was the single most important and only direction, how could there be two? After that there will be an incidental mental breakdown that will force the mind to choose whether what society says is true or not. In the end, it is a fifty fifty thing, personally I am not a big fan of collectivism, I prefer an individualistic society of thinkers than a unified society of hollowed heads.

Trifles

We live in a society where people lack awareness of details, by this I mean small things in out every day life that seem unimportant, but they lead to great things. Have you ever stopped from your every day monotonous activities and observe those who are around you? Stopped to observe their small ticks and sudden movements, even those little habits they have in partaking certain body movements? If you ever did you might notice that there is so much more to them by just viewing those details, that there is a reason behind it. Say you see a friend constantly touching his hand and gripping it, he might of had an accident or maybe he plays boxing. The reasons and story behind it could be something extraordinary, yet in this world we reside in no one really pays attention to those trifles. The general population is fixated on the big picture in a way where they cant see anything else, they see their goal, but never worry about the road in between. In other words, it is like you seeing a huge city and not noticing the slums surrounding it, not noticing the pain of those who are working just to get there.

In Trifles we actually see this, we see how (spoiler alert) investigator do a lazy job due to their lack of focus on the details, they thought so little of it that they missed the most crucial of evidence to solving the case. It is thanks to their lack of care that these women got away with it. Moral of it all, details matter, often on our day to day basis we overlook details and we more or less end up like those investigators. If one wants to avoid it, observe your surroundings and pay attention to that which doesn't seem interesting, you might discover something important that you never expected.

Relfection on Blog

Well readers our journey was short, not so lively but I really did enjoy doing this. I guess in a way this type of writing gave me the freedom i really desired. I feel alive writting in this blog as if the world could just shut it and read what i am clearly saying. The beauty of having a blog is exactly that, the world is the possible audience as they watch your every word and criticize it for what its worth, but what is a word worth? To some it is worth their life, they spend most of it fighting and dying due to it. To other it is worth their freedom, they spend their whole lives imprisoned for using their life. To a minority it is worth the life of others, they spend their whole lives endangering others due to them not knowing how to use their word. What do you think reader? In this blog I have the power to create and destroy a nation, to choose who lives and dies both directly and indirectly, of course it is all under potential. Still, think of it, the power of the feather is mighty indeed, this blog has taught me such lesson.

My post only really centralize on ideals and different views of the world, take for an instance the one I was discussing about the cold war. To be honest I quite enjoyed it, I felt more like a reporter and it gave me a little bit more of an edge when I was writing and investigating. I  discovered things I already knew but also things I didn't, spending those hours learning really did me wonders. It helped me widen my perspective over this world and how does jurnalism and the media influence it heavily. This world would be much more boring withought the free media.

Well enough's enough, I shouldn't be veering off subject, reader I ask you if you had a blog what would you write? Would you use that power for selfish reasons or for selfless ones? Do you realize how much your word is worth today in this democratic nation? If not then I invite you to use it, to put into play your power and see where your mind takes you at the end of the day. As for me I am just gonna continue to play with swords and feathers to really see what is best, I look forward to writting more for you darling....

Jugular poem: We the..

There is a special place in hell for men like us,
Men who are on the hunt of power,
Men who defy god,
And dare steal from death.

Yes, we are the immortal mortals of society,
The filth that manages to be clean,
We are the chaos in your ears,
And the silence behind your tears.

We are the tyrants,
The monsters disguised as prophets and saviors,
But we do not speak of peace,
No we speak of dominance,
We mandate submission of the people,
for a complete and unilateral worship.

We are your eyes,
Your ears,
And your every fear.
For us, you are entertainment,
For you, we are called,

This poem was inspired by this speech:

Journal

Part of my class has been spent on these journal entries that to be honest at first I detested. Yes reader I must be honest with you, as a man with as many classes as I do, I found it a waste of time and energy invested into writing those entries when I could be doing other things like studying for chemistry, Calculus 2 or Programming since those other classes were far more useful to me. Don't get me wrong I do love writing, its an addiction really, but my natural sense of rebellion makes me hate any attempt that forces me to do something at a given time. I naturally enjoy roaming free and going where my pen takes me in this wondrous creative world. That being said, it became so difficult, even frustrating, for me to work on the journal, it made me anxious and nervous having to be restricted and obligated to do something.

In a way this work taught me a lesson on how the real world is like, not always we will agree with what we are ordered to do, nor will we like it as well, but in this world we have to do things we don't like or don't want to achieve our goals. I hated this work from the bottom of my soul, enough for me to write a short story per entry instead, yet I respected the work due to the lesson it taught me, honestly I don't feel comfortable sharing some information on the entries with you readers per say due to how personal it is and what i wrote shouldn't see daylight at all. That being said, after I got accustomed to the journal i wrote some pretty deep things about myself and how I viewed the world, I learned new things about me that i never knew. I also learned about my own flaws due to this method, I we are our best critiques when it comes to seeing what is wrong with us.

In the end I did enjoy the journal, though I would never, ever, do this again, seriously it was too stressful to keep up with. Id rather write as I please and criticize myself as I see fit.

War

Well in the previous post I gave you, the reader, a direct insight on the Cold War from a general neutral perspective(if you have not read the part one of this then I implore you to do so, here is the link, http://rocinantedelamancha.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-talk-of-war.html Now  in this post i'll analyse what the Cold War meant in the mini series The 60's. To those who saw the series you saw how Brian returned in a different state when he came back from the war than when we started, Picture this, imagine fighting for something bigger than your self, something you truly find reason to feel it is an absolute truth, that said you should be able to succeed. What happens when you don't? Is what you fought for a lie to yourself? Society teaches us as kids that the truth always prevails above all, thanks to that is that Brian truly believed in the war until the very end, when the "Truth always prevail" didn't win the war and made him doubt everything he has fought for up to that point. This problem was shared across all the returned veterans from Vietnam.

You must be asking yourself how can the truth not prevail? It is simple, there is no single truth, I mean there is no absolute truth, we all think that what we fight for is a just cause but so does our enemies, so does the man on the other side who lifted a gun against you for the sake of his children. To us they are monsters and to them we are the real monster, who has the truth? The answer is none.
The truth is just a convenience that the government uses to wage war, truth meaning just cause. Due to this Brian became a victim of the system he sought to defend with ought seeing their real motifs behind it all.

The grim reality of it all is that this happens on our daily basis, what happened in the 60's today we call is Iraq and Afghanistan, the communist we so feared back then we replaced with terrorist. The fear of back then still exist to this day, the truth we sought is nothing but the figment of a good lie told to both sides. In that sense the show teaches us that the first causality in a war is the truth, (possible quote here that i don't remember) in the end we see many men like Brain when all is lost...
